Quality of mess food is of low-standard.
Question being raised about CAG reports- which pointed out gross financial mismanagement. Non utilisation of the plan funded. In 2014-2015, 65% funds stand unutilized.
Aicte grant-in-aid remain unutilized- which may have been used for setting up new labs and improvement of old one.
NO NBA acrediation.
This has stopped, GCET Jammu, from starting post-graduation courses.
Students are adamant- till their genuine demands are fulfilled, protest will continue indefinitely.
Government approved and funded projects are nowhere to seen.
Wifi service is interrupted regularly. Already approved LAN system is nowhere.
Gym is still a dream.

The students of GCET Jammu have come out to protest against the authorities and blocked all the entrance points to college .

Students are facing the water crisis since last 15 days and no proper step was taken by the authorities .

GCET Jammu is the only government engineering college in the state and the condition of this college is worse in every way .

Student in the protest demand the authorities to look into the water problem and many more problems they face continueously.  The general problems faced by students include the mess facility where they complain about the food quality . The WiFi services are not even working properly .
